In special education, we prepare outstanding special educators to work with a diverse population of students with disabilities by working collaboratively to create a dynamic partnership between faculty, students, administrators and local communities.
The MEd program is an advanced teacher certification program for those who seek to obtain a special education endorsement (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) and already hold a standard New Jersey general education teacher certificate in a content content area or a New Jersey certificate of eligibility with advanced standing (CEAS). The program requires coursework as well as a demonstration teaching experience with students with disabilities.
