The Biology major at Baylor University?offers two concentrations: Integrative Biology and Cell and Molecular Biology.?
The Integrative Biology degree plan introduces students to the wholeness of biology, transcending scale. The Cell and Molecular Biology degree plan provides a solid foundation in cellular function and genetic control of biological processes to support exploration of disease etiology.
Our mission is to advance biological knowledge through excellence in research, educate the next generation of leaders in the health and basic biological sciences, and apply our findings to solve global challenges in human health and environmental stewardship.
The Department of Biology at Baylor University seeks to understand the fundamental mechanisms by which living systems operate. Our faculty span a wide range of research and teaching interests and employ Baylor's state-of-the-science facilities to address critical questions in modern biology.
