- The animal science program at Missouri State provides students with a broad understanding of all types of animal industries, including horses, dairy, and beef. MSU program integrates business concepts with technical education in animal production, care, nutrition, and breeding.

- Students will able to apply concepts of breeding, physiology, nutrition, herd-health, economics, and management into practical and profitable animal production programs.
