- This programs integrate hands-on experiences at our numerous agriculture facilities, allowing students to apply their education directly and learn through experience.
- The Darr College of Agriculture is located in the center of businesses, governmental agencies, and production units in the food, fiber, and renewable resources industry, which provides students with great networking, internship, and career opportunities.
- Through internship offerings and research experiences, students will strengthen their skills in and knowledge of agriculture, preparing them for success.
- This degree path provides an applied, practical education in many areas of the food, fiber, and natural resources industry. Students will take courses in agricultural business, natural resources, animal science, and environmental plant science, which will provide a strong foundation in agriculture along with flexible career options.
- Learning outcomes:
- Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze data and draw appropriate statistical conclusions.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of the legal and ethical environment impacting agriculture organizations and exhibit an understanding and appreciation of the ethical implications of decisions.
