Students of the program can choose between an intensive one-year format or two-year format of study. Along the way, you'll forge connections between theory and practice, interweaving coursework with thoughtfully designed field experiences. Both classroom work and hands-on student teaching incorporate a strong sense of social justice and a determination to step outside our own cultures and comfort levels.
Once students complete the program, they're in high demand for teaching jobs?nearly 100% have employment at graduation. They also graduate recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for the preliminary single-subject credential.
