The B.S. in Nursing program is designed for students who desire to work closely with individuals, families, and communities to promote health and provide care for illness and end of life. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply to take the NCLEX? licensure examination (for registered nurses).
As part of the undergraduate curriculum, students participate in community engagement experiences. A group of students are assigned to a community agency and work together with community partners to plan health related activities. Students are assigned to the same community agency throughout their five semesters in the nursing program. Many of these agencies serve multicultural populations or groups that are vulnerable or socially disadvantaged.
You?ll have the opportunity to take part in serving your fellow student nurses, the Bethel community, and our local community through engaging events and projects.

Likes
- I like the Nursing Program professors, and how the student to professor ratio allows for you to have personal relationships with professors and have more personal teaching.
Dislikes
- I don’t like that the community aspect besides in athletics is lacking at Bethel, which doesn’t allow for students to connect with each other as much.
Course Curriculum
I think some of the classes I’ve had to take have been pointless and a waste of my time to be completely honest. But other ones have been helpful in preparing me to be a good nurse.
