- In our program, you may select one of five concentrations?biochemistry, chemical physics, forensics, materials, and medicinal chemistry?all of which are individualized to your specific needs. You will also have a research requirement that allows you to get hands-on experience in biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, or materials chemistry as early as your freshman year. You may even be asked to attend a regional or national meeting to present the results of your research.
