MES at YaleU: Fees 2026 Dates & Requirements

Academic Eligibility:

• Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university.
• Students may also apply for admission for graduate study leading to an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering. 

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Note: A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at Stanford. A two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree from India is required.

• Completed Online Application Form: Fill out the YSE Application Form.
• Essays and Statements: Start your application early to access essay prompts and manage your time effectively for thoughtful responses.
• Résumé or Curriculum Vitae: Submit a detailed CV or résumé with job/internship/volunteer experiences, including descriptions and full/part-time status. Include original research, reports, or publications.
• Three Letters of Reference: Provide academic or professional references with a recommendation form and a one- to two-page letter. Avoid letters from family or friends.
• Transcripts: Submit transcripts from all attended institutions in specified formats, including study abroad and non-degree courses. For international transcripts, provide certified English translations and consider a WES or ECE evaluation.
• Official Test Score Report — TOEFL/IELTS: Required if English is not your native language. Send scores directly from the testing service. The Duolingo English Test is not accepted.
• Application Fee: There is no application fee.
