Health communication professionals work to educate and inform the public, workplaces, schools, and communities about health and wellness issues that can improve everyones quality of life.
Career opportunities for students who take the Health and Wellness specialization exist in for-profit and nonprofit agencies, including government, hospitals, health departments, schools and other industries. Students may also consider pursuing an advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in fields like communication, health education, sociology, or nutrition science.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- SAT/ACT Scores (with writing) [not needed if graduated from high school two or more years before the dates the classes start at SEBS or if the applicant have finished secondary school and have received at least 12 college credits with final grades by the admissions application due date.]
- Completed application form
- $70 nonrefundable application fee
- Official high school transcript(s) with final grades for all coursework with a certified translation in English. In addition, students might be asked to provide translated syllabi or course descriptions for faculty evaluation once on campus.
- If applicable, official college transcript(s) for all colleges previously attended with a certified translation in English.
Indian Eligibility:
- Indian School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, Higher School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, and Pre-University course: (awarded on completion of Standard XII)
- Qualifying English Proficiency Tests like TOFL, IELTS,PTE and MELAB
