Campus Life
The campus life is supposed to be great but unfortunately I was a part of the covid batch and didn't get to experience any of it.
Hostel
Off campus housing cost around 600$ / month. There's free transport service from 5pm- 3am around 2 mile radius of the campus.

- I liked the facilities at the university. They are very helpful and always appreciate us for everything.,
- The environment of the university was also nice for Indian students.
- Dislikes:
- I didn't like the placement of the university.,
- If you really need a job you have to search for it yourself.,
- Every student can relate that placements promised to us during the admission time are not really fulfilled.
Campus Life
It was good, Wifi was provided and I have also participated in many extracurricular activities.
Hostel
Around $1000

- The community I was able to find in the film school, the friends I made, and the connections.,
- I was fortunate enough to establish that will set me up for a strong career.
- Dislikes:
- The administration’s clear prioritization of profit— ignoring Greek life’s rampant sexual exploitation, arresting and detaining students for peacefully protesting against USC’s investment in Israel, etc
Campus Life
Campus life is fun; it’s a party school, the facilities are very nice, they treat athletes well, and there are some issues surrounding Greek life.
Hostel
I shared a suite with my roommates because I was in the honour program. We had a kitchen and bathroom, but most dorms have communal bathrooms. I shared a room with one other person and a unit with three others. It costs about 20k/year.
Campus Life
Campus life is always popping with USC featured events. They have this app called eventSC which has a list of many different college-wide and college-specific events. For example, I went to their Paint Night, Dance Night, Carnival Night, only to mention a few. They also have many clubs of different interests and lots of school spirit (Fight On!). They also have basketball courts, swimming pools, two gyms, and more. Lots of libraries to study in as well which includes good WiFi.
Hostel
I personally am not going to study abroad so I don't have any details. However, my friend is considering studying abroad and he believes that the accommodating rooms would be similar to USC's price for housing, which is around $13,000/year.

- To be honest as I have mentioned the overall experience is something which makes things great. Good faculties with great ratio where students can have one on one interactions with students, taking courses from other school allows to understand more about different schools, their teaching styles.
- Dislikes:
- Fees could be a bit on a lower side, the amount of credits which I take from the other schools are restricted like for ex. I need to take 16 units from Viterbi then I can take rest of them from other.
Campus Life
Lots of extra curricular activities going on, chance to participate in sports, decent whether so always a good day to be on campus.
Hostel
Average rent around USC is 700 dollars for a shared spot, lots of nice accommodation with a reasonable distance to grocery chains and essentials.

- The environment, experience, coursework, people. The best things are the events that keep on happening in the campus to make sure students don't feel alone and have the feeling of fun by having free food, games etc.
- Dislikes:
- I think the university is in a not so good area. There are regular petty crimes but that's the in general state of the USA. Other things include lesser meal options for vegetarian but that's again the in general state of the USA
Campus Life
Campus life is really live I would say. Lots of events and things to enjoy, it's really an experience with the sports extra activities.
Hostel
Currently I'm in a sharing room, since Cali is one of the most expensive places you can expect the shared rent cost per person to be around 700-800 including utilities per month.

- "1. The infrastructure, facilities, gym, sports center. 2. Everyone is approachable and responsive, be it professor or any other work related staff. 3. Professors try to keep lectures interactive and want you to understand the content. "
- Dislikes:
- "1. I find it overpriced for all the facilities 2. Getting an on campus job is really a hard task. The process is not exactly known by all. 3. The credit systems. Previously it was 3 credits for each subject where as it is 4 credits for each subject currently."

"The campus is beautiful. 10\10. All facilities are available withing the campus. "
Hostel
Accomation is quite expensive in USC
Campus Life
Amazing facilities, especially if you're willing to go out of your shell and explore within other schools and communities.
Hostel
Housing around campus is available, not really a safe place, but should be manageable if you're willing to take precautions and follow rules.
Campus Life
Campus life is so good. Great infrastructure, lots of events, free food programs, recreational centre and many more
Hostel
I live at off campus accommodation. It is the cheapest one. Good apartment, can fit upto 4 people in 1 bedroom hall setting.

- USC is one of prestigious universities. I prioritised ranking of USC all other admits that I had. Tge large alumni network of USC can be quite useful during your job hunt. USC has got some great professors and faculties in the field of research. Los Angeles has nice weather and you can easily accumulate.,
- Great Location and very pleasant weather , large and helpful Alumni Network, Prestige of teh school and community bonding, inclusive Campus Activities, Basic Amenities, Quite and soothing Libraries, Security on the campus
- Dislikes:
- Tuition cost, living expenses, poor student to faculty ratio, lake of job opportunities for international students, contrasting course curriculum, large intake of CS students when compared to limited resources, decline in quality of research
Campus Life
USC is a large institution and very diverse. It's very happening and consists of various religious, cultural, inclusive clubs and organizations. Plenty of options for recreational sports and extra curricular activities. The campus has over 19 libraries and has all the necessary amenities.
Hostel
Most of the USC students live off campus. There are some rental appartments available close to the campus. I lived in a 2B2B apt, shared by 4 people. It had basic amenities like gas, trash, water, wifi covered. Usual rent around USC is 750$ for a shared room/ 1200$ for a private room.
