Our program begins with a foundation in math and science, accompanied by a progression of engineering topics. Students then move on to advanced courses with emphasis on applying analytical skills, problem solving techniques and the use of computer-based tools.
Laboratory courses are incorporated throughout the curriculum providing hands-on experience in the application of engineering principles and theories. Cooperative education and internship opportunites are also incorporated in the ME program.
Graduates of the program will also be prepared for graduate studies (subject to grade-point and particular university requirements). Students will be prepared and encouraged to take the Fundamentals of Engineering examination as a step towards professional registration.
