- The mathematics graduate program offers the degrees of Master of Arts (M.A.), including M.A. program for Secondary Teachers, Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in either pure or applied mathematics.
- The Master's program in either pure or applied mathematics is intended for those students who want a professional education in mathematics beyond the Bachelor's degree level. The Master's program for Secondary Teachers is aimed at in-service teachers and features both mathematics and education classes.
- In broad terms, the faculty areas of research lie in functional analysis and operator theory, representation theory, approximation theory, convex geometry, harmonic analysis, finite groups, character theory, number theory, large scale systems of equations, numerical and scientific computation and probability and stochastic processes.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university to get admission to this program.
- Students require a minimum GPA of 3 on a 4.0 scale for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Students need to submit minimum GRE exam scores for a better chance of admission.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
