Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Technical and Applied Studies (Non-profit-Human Services)] From Kent State University

The Nonprofit-Human Services concentration prepares individuals who fill these positions. The concentration provides students with knowledge and competencies in areas such as grant writing and fundraising, mission and vision, advocacy and lobbying, risk management, board committee development, program planning, leadership and ethics, human resource development, youth and adult development, marketing, financial management and nonprofit management.

It is designed for students who are beginning their academic study or for students who hold an associate degree or have completed some college-level coursework; the program will accommodate varied educational backgrounds, develop competencies needed for success in a variety of work settings and offer major courses in schedules attractive to traditional students and to time- and place-bound adults.
