UNK CSIT students are provided the opportunity to design and implement their own unique projects in numerous classes - they are in the driver seat to personalize their educational experience.

Student-led projects include virtual reality, quadcopters, robotics, augmented reality, computer virtualization and security, and more! The annual newsletter showcases last year's activities.

• Having this variety also allows students to start in one area, and if they decide, change to a different major area with no loss in time to graduate. Students learn the distinctions between the majors during their first year, and start to get a better understanding of their own likes/career goals.
• Having this variety means we attract a wide-variety of industries (big and small) to hire our students.
