Small classes and immediate musical involvement provide channels for student activity. All programs give students purposeful, realistic and challenging learning situations, and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
Many high school students visit for the first time to consider whether UNK has a place in their future. Most often they come here with their parents, who may also have never been to Kearney or seen UNK before. They are surprised at what they discover. Alumni who haven?t returned for many years after leaving with their new diploma in hand return to discover how our campus has grown and changed.
