Geospatial Engineering Concentration

Geospatial engineers create 3-D maps based on terrestrial or geographic data, employing advanced technologies such as spatial information software, Earth observation systems, global navigation satellite systems, laser and radar imaging sensors, and more. At Michigan Tech, you will study geospatial concepts including measurements, modeling, data collection and acquisition techniques, maps and mapping technologies, data and metadata formats, and visualization.
