The mathematics major at PNW is designed to meet the core recommendations of professional mathematics associations. It requires students to develop competencies in all the mathematical sciences : mathematics, statistics and computer science. This foundation allows students to tailor their upper level courses to prepare for their dream jobs or for graduate school. Students may work with faculty on research projects and participate in regional and national mathematics competitions. Office doors are open; students are welcome to drop in to chat as well as to get help when needed.
