University of Michigan, Dearborn Education Courses

The University of Michigan, Dearborn Education Department is committed to excellence rooted in strong academics, innovative research, and engaged learning. They provide strong theoretical grounding and meaningful practical experiences involving contemporary educational, health, and social issues.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn Educator Preparation Program is granted accreditation at the initial licensure and advanced level by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), for a period of six years, from 2020-2026. The Education program is designed for working educators, enabling them to strengthen their knowledge, subject specialization and professional outlook through a University of Michigan-Dearborn degree.
