Students in RETP attend UNG (either Dahlonega or Gainesville campuses) where they take all of the mathematics and science and some engineering courses required in the first two years of an engineering program at Georgia Tech. Upon successful completion of these classes, the students transfer to Georgia Tech to complete the requirements for an engineering degree.
The University of North Georgia offers a dual degree program which allows students to receive a bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics or chemistry from UNG and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Clemson University in South Carolina, or Mercer University in Macon.?
