Likes
- Huge campus and high opportunities of cross collaboration between departments
Likes
- Diverse Learning Opportunity.
- Big Campus.
- Alot of resourses to pursue research idea.
Dislikes
- Hefty tuition fees.
- Limited GRA opportunities (atleast in my stream)
- Not safe walk around at night.
- I opted for off-campus housing. I lived in University village which is about 2-3 miles from the main campus. The housing isn't too good but it will be enough to get by as a student. A lot of Indians who come to Columbus, Ohio for education end up living in University Village.
- So there's a good indian community there. I would recommend students live in UV if they don't know anybody in Columbus already. It's easier to make friends from the Indian community in Columbus.
Likes
- The professors were dedicated to teaching, and experienced in their fields.
- You could always find bright students who were also dedicated to their studies and career advancement.
Dislikes
- The administration seems unstable, likely due to the continued involvement of Les Wexner.
- As a slight gym rat, there will never be enough equipment with the number of students we have.
I chose this university because of multiple factors: - I live close to the university - Decent rankings in my program - High abundance of extracurriculars - Large alumuni base It was a great overall experience. It had very friendly communities and the academics were solid.
My experience so far is very good. tOSU offers cultural inclusion and people are very accepting here. You get plenty of activities and extracurricular activities along with excellent academics. The campus is very pretty with a lake and a river going around the campus.
I chose this university because the academic pressure that is demanded from the university is suitable for me.
I chose this college because it is close to home and it was also the most affordable. Thanks to in-state tuition and FAFSA o was able to not be in so much debt but also the school is a good school that's hard to get into and had a good program
The program they offer is the best in the country and the best school in Ohio that is offered for my program. They aren't affordable and close to my hometown. They have the best professors, advisors, and programs.
