The program at the University of South Carolina offers students the opportunity to choose from two undergraduate degrees: the Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio (B.A.) and the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.). The B.A. is a well-rounded liberal arts major that offers a solid foundation in multiple types of art and is ideal for students interested in double majoring. The B.F.A. is a pre-professional degree that allows students to focus in one of our seven concentration areas: ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking or sculpture (3-D studies).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Submit course by course evaluation of official transcripts with GPA
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 77 in ibt; 550 in PBT; 213 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 115
- PTE: minimum 53
