Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Retailing] From University of South Carolina

In the  programme delivered by University of South Carolina, you will develop your leadership and organizational skills, gain the ability to adapt to the changing macro- and microeconomic retail environment and increase your retail financial savvy. During your coursework, you will learn theory, principles and practice of retailing. Retail stores throughout the community will serve as inspiration and as working laboratories as you learn the practical application of theory in real-world settings. 

Our retail program allows you to specialize in retail management or fashion merchandising. Both provide you with business fundamentals such as accounting, economics, business law, communications and computer applications. You will also have the chance to explore your interests through two required internships, coordinated by our department that boasts a 100 percent internship placement rate for retailing majors.

The Department of Retailing is in the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management. The program focuses on a strong business and liberal arts core and emphasizes team building, communication, intelligent decision-making and collaborative problem-solving.
