Campus Life

  • My college has six campuses: Lake Shore campus, Water Tower campus, Health Sciences Campus, Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Center, Cuneo Mansion and Gardens and John Felice Rome Center.
  • There are multiple facilities available, such as, a wellness center, sports facilities such as basketball, football, gym, cardio room, volleyball, swimming pool, sauna, etc., a huge library and auditoriums and study spaces.

  • As a freshman it was compulsory for me to live on campus
  • I dont have a monthly rent as its paid according to every semester, the facilities included are laundry services.
  • No challenges, just that I was paired up with random roommates.
  • My only recommendation would be to find people and get to know them so that you can choose who you want your roommate to be.
  • My accommodation is a five min walk from all my classes and Indian students stay among all the other students.

I chose this school because it is a small, liberal arts school so I knew that I would be focused on as an individual. I also chose the school-based off of athletics. I run on the track team here so it was important to me that the team and training fit my needs.

I had a roommate who moved out and so I got extra space in our small triple. This school overbooked students and converted doubles into triples. While I like our space many students suffer from a limited area.

It is in the city and it also has a campus. This was very important to me when I came from Michigan. I loved that I would be able to access the opportunities from the city and also be somewhat close to home.

I lived on campus dorms for my first 2 years because it is required by the university. I am now living in an off-campus apartment which is nice and I will do the same again next year. The off-campus apartments most students live in are still a very close walk to campus.

I wanted to be in Chicago and have a college that was community-driven. The campus is beautiful and all of my classes are taken in the heart of downtown which was a big selling point for me. I enjoyed the environment when I visited.
