The program also prepares students for graduate study in economics as well as for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Those students who desire professional careers as business and managerial economists are advised to plan to complete one to four years of postgraduate study. A major in Business Economics requires students to earn a minimum grade of C in each of the courses taken to satisfy the requirements for the Business Economics major*(as described below), and students must earn a minimum 2.0 grade point average for those major courses.
