What Students Say
Dislikes
- Could improve an alumni network and have more practical based curriculum
Course Curriculum
- The course contents are fairly up to date and updated and most of the times, the assignments are structured to provide an industry-level feel. As for the classes, they are spaced out to 2 times per week. The average student count is up to 30
Admission Experience
- WPI was well known for Robotics Engineering and specifically niche topics like medical robotics and soft robotics. Till now my experience has been very enriching; the faculty is supportive
- My scores: GRE - 310 TOEFL - 105 SAT: Not appeared IELTS: not appeared
Faculty
- The classrooms are small in nature with up to 30 students. This ensures that the faculty can pay close attention to each student. I guess Prof. Loris Fichera has been an excellent teacher by being approachable and taking maximum efforts to ensure students understand what they learn.
Campus Life
- There are a number of technical and non-technical clubs on the campus; they're mostly run by students and have their events frequently.
Part Time Jobs
- It is a bit difficult to get an on-campus job for international students. The university has a job portal; however, major hiring is only done on the basis of references
Placement
- Job opportunities have been pretty good in the batch; most students land a job while they study.
Accommodation
- My rental costs are $500 a month and I used different websites recommended by the university; even student whatsapp groups are a good source for listings.
Exams
- Exams: TOEFL , GRE Documents: Statement of purpose, LOR and CV
Fees
- $1690 per course credit.
