- Faculty to student ratio depends on particular course and it's not generally same. For compulsory course it's 1:45... For minor course 1: 15. Dr John Shacka, Dr Zhang Jianhua are some great professors

- 11$ per hour is the average wage for part time jobs in campus.You can apply through UAB career website center. Job can be secured through required qualifications and provided your GPA is great. Teaching assistantship is mostly for Research oriented people who are in Doctoral or post doc program.
