I applied to over 6 universities:  University of Bridgeport, University of New Heaven, NJIT, Saint Joseph's University, University at Buffalo, Wilmington University. Out of these, only the University of New Heaven was rejected and everything else was accepted. I'm not sure why, as they didn't mention any specific reason. I'm particularly thinking that due to the last-minute application. I got acceptance from the University of Bridgeport and NJIT. Remaining were waitlisted but later got confirmation after getting into UB. I particularly wanted to choose universities from Eastern Zone, so I have given list to college dunia but UB was not at the preference initially. Later I explored about the university and they also offered 4K$ scholarship. Also I heard that university has very good community. The faculty was also good. So this made me in preference as it is also in the zone where I'm looking. Later after my first semester, I have transferred to other university and here, I'm feeling better and very good experience. The initial steps were common like submitting the application and submitting necessary details and proofs like certificates, degree details, personal details and everything. Some universities specifically ask's WES evolution and GRE scores. Any how this university waved GRE requirement. If I have it, they asked to submit it, I did it. This was taken care by college dunia on behalf of me. Thanks to collegedunia. I applied for spring 2024 intake. Fall is the major time to begin masters program. Spring is also a good time if you are well prepared. There might be less opportunities for spring if you are looking for on campus opportunities. Took 1 month to get admission. Bentley University: Rejected Purdue University: Rejected I believe my application got rejected because of high competition and the limited number of seats available. Also, maybe I lacked in presenting my application in a desired format; I could have had a better chance if I prepared my application more effectively, keeping in mind the number of applications these colleges must be receiving. I chose the University of Bridgeport as it was affordable, it offered career-focused programs and due to its closeness to major cities for networking opportunities. The class size for UB was smaller, offering practical learning and it was a cost-effective option in comparison to Uconn and Boston University. The admission process included submitting an online application, a transcript, 2 LORs, and a personal statement, which is an essay describing your academic background, your interests and hobbies, and your interest in the program. Proof of English proficiency, i.e., IELTS, TOEFL. Minimum GPA: 3.00. Their process and communication were clear. The only challenge that I faced was managing the deadlines for document submission. I applied for the spring intake because it allowed me to start sooner and align better with my academic and career goals without waiting for the fall semester.
