Cornell Tech- The trinity of technology, entrepreneurship and business

I chose Cornell over other admits of Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Washington and University of Maryland College Park as Cornell has these advantages: 1. A good amount of merit-based scholarship granted 2. Cornell Tech's location is in NYC 3. The curriculum is flexible and dynamic for students 4. Cornell Tech is home to hundreds of start-ups and established businesses with a wide range of opportunities 5. Meta, Bloomberg, Verizon, and Tata centres are present in the campus where students study, work and get exposed to good work of research in these tech-giants. 6. Being selective in students and smaller intake builds the best Cornell Tech alumni network in all domains of technology, robotics, business and entrepreneurship.

Highly experienced professors from Meta, Tata, Bloomberg, and Verizon provide the best to students. The curriculum is highly flexible as one can take many courses from MBA, CS, Operations, Information Systems and Law.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:30 which makes the best environment for good interaction. All the smartest of students and professors are at Cornell Tech.

The campus is on Roosevelt Island, Manhattan New York City. As NYC is crowded, so Cornell Tech campus is more urban and smaller than the Ithaca Cornell University campus. Moreover, Cornell Tech campus is energy efficient in all aspects and its location is best in New York City.

PhD research, internships, and career fairs are frequent in the university. Cornell Tech is home to four tech-giant centres which are Meta, Bloomberg, Verizon and Tata.

I stayed at on-campus accommodation "The House at Cornell Tech" in a 3Bed-2Bathroom apartment which costs me around $1.7k individually. However, NYC Manhattan and Roosevelt Island accommodation is way too expensive and it would have increased my commute and utility expenses.

- My scores: TOEFL - 112/120 1. No GRE score is considered 2. Only IELTS/TOEFL (iBT) scores are accepted 3. Third party organization like WES, SPARTRAN required for undergraduate transcript's evaluation - SSC- 97.8% (10th), HSC- 92.4% (12th) Mumbai University- UG BTech in ECE (9.82/10 CGPA, valedictorian position) - Requirements: I had to submit 1 SoP, 2 LoRs, and an updated Resume followed by a video interview. In my application experience, all Ivy League search for a story and purpose to enrol to that course in SoP. Our SoP shouldn't be the text paragraph of our resume! So I recommend adding your individual journey over your career, projects or undergraduate experience. Pointers and GPA are not major factors in SoP as Transcripts will depict them significantly but they seek someone who's an all-rounder and knows their own strengths and weaknesses in SoP. For an interview, there were 3 questions asked about reasons for a course, projects-research papers and situational leadership of your past. Not more than 40 minutes, the interview lasted.

For 2 year program, it is $130,000 but scholarships provide great relief for this exuberant number.
