I chose this university because of it's top international ranking - 27th. Highly reputed with world-class infrastructure. More opportunities for research in engineering field.
Course Curriculum
The course doesn't deal much with space though it's aerospace but instead, it covers a lot about aircraft and propulsion systems.
Exams
- IELTS - 6.5+, School - 75%+, Additional internship or professional work experience. - My scores: CBSE - 8.6 CGPA (10th), CBSE - 82% (12th), Bachelor's - 8.2 CGPA - Requirements: Yes. I submitted 2 LoRs, 1 SoP, my CV, academic certificates and transcripts.
Placement
There are plenty of research opportunities but none for placements. However, the university has teams to help students with career opportunities. The student can contact the career advising team to work on their CV, find opportunities full-time or part-time, etc. The career team will help the student on how to prepare for interviews and attend tests. The starting salary for an average student placed out from a master's degree would be a minimum of £28000 per annum.
Fees
GBP 32000. There are scholarships available.
Faculty
The faculty here are esteemed professionals and easily approachable. They teach subjects in-depth so that education is not just about the exams but also about getting a deeper understanding of what we are learning. My faculties for propulsion systems and LabView are some of the coolest professors I have ever seen. They teach the class with live props and experiments for an in-depth understanding of the subject.
Campus Life
The university has many international societies and each conducts its events and the student halls conduct their special events every month. These events consist of food events, sports activities, and even day trips. Wifi is available throughout the university area and almost all the outlets have access to free wifi. The university holds an amazing arena for sports enthusiasts and they are maintained regularly. The university library is a second home to most of the students and provides all that a student needs.
Hostel
There are en suite and shared halls and university and private accommodations. University halls are near to most of the university buildings but their en suite ones pretty expensive. They are yet highly secure. The university halls which are near the city centre offers an amazing atmosphere of both university and city life.
