- The courses provided by the university were appealing and I was more interested in attending those.
In my experience living far from family and study has great impact on once character. We need to get socially active otherwise you will be left alone here, this will impact your brain and your academics. In University try to be as active as possible this will prepare you for what's coming in future for you. Try to focus on what you are interested in apart from what others are doing.
Course Curriculum
Had great experience in new technology while working on project under professor. New hardware were provided as needed for research purpose.
Exams
My scores: GRE - 145 Verbal, 155 Quant 3 Writing, IETLS - 7 minimum score: GRE 290, IELTS 6, TOEFL - 90.
Placement
Lot of companies visited, Infosys, TIBCO, Verizon, Nokia, CCC, etc. Many of the companies were providing internships for the freshers. And fulltime opportunities for the experienced one.
Internship
I didn't opted for any internship as I wanted to focus more on academics.
Fees
In 2017-19 the tuition per credit was around 1400$-1500$.
Faculty
The ratio was not that bad. Professors were interested in mentoring more students if students are interested in learning.
Campus Life
Campus had recreational center for daily extracurricular activities. We had Table tennis, snooker and other things to enjoy at international center.
Hostel
I have no experience living in university housing. We rented nearby apartments the cost was approx. 350$/person when shared 2BHK with 4 people.
