- It was in San Francisco which is a hub for many tech companies and start ups. The program gave an exposure of the US market to work on various projects with clients.
Required Exams for Admission
Overall a good experience and I got a good exposure too but living in San Francisco is expensive and I would rather choose a university in Texas or some other state and pay less when I have to work by myself for getting a job.
Course Curriculum
Both industrial exposure and research experience was given but since the program is of 11 months, each course has to be completed within 7 weeks which is a short time. It's fast paced and a lot of knowledge has to be gained by yourself.
Faculty
Dr. Stephan Kraus, Dr. Ricardo Villareal, and now Program Director- Dr. Patino are really good and will help in coaching you outside the courses as well. They're all well-versed and knowledgeable; also have a huge network of great professionals.
Campus Life
This classes for this program doesn't happen in the main campus, which is a bummer. The downtown campus is just a building but equipped with all the basic facilities. The main campus, however, is huge and has gym, pool, recreation hall, library etc. There is a lot happening in the main campus including extracurricular activities, movie nights. Graduate Marketing Association is one of the club that the student can join at the downtown campus.
Placement
You have to take care of that yourself. No companies visit. You have to apply to at least 300-600 companies in order to land a job.
Accommodation
$900-1500, living in close proximity of the downtown campus is feasible as the classes happen in the evenings as well. Commuting in SF is easy via Muni.
