Academic Requirements

A 2:1 Honours degree, or international equivalent (60-65% or CGPA (6.0-6.5)/10), in a relevant subject. However, combinations of the following can be taken into consideration:

• undergraduate qualifications
• masters qualifications
• relevant work experience

English Proficiency Score

• IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).
• TOEFL iBT and TOEFL IBT Special Home Edition 90 overall (with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing).
• PTE 70 overall (with a minimum of 59 in all sub-skills).
• Duolingo 125 overall (with a minimum of 105 in Writing, Reading, Speaking and 100 in Listening).

Specialised Application Information

• Before students apply they should find and contact a research supervisor from the School of Engineering.
• If students are based in the UK the University may invite them to interview.
