Kingston University Fine Arts Programs

The Fine Art department at Kingston University offers a range of innovative studies at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels. It gives students a true art school experience. Here, Fine Art encourages the dialogue between traditional and emerging genres, exposing students to a wide spectrum of techniques, ideas and approaches.

The Fine Art department offers dynamic production-based and studio programmes in which students develop their professional practice. Their studio facilities have been described as some of the best in the UK and offer a largely unrivalled range of techniques and media, all available to Fine Art students, six days a week.

Their staff are all working makers and practitioners, with a wealth of experience in practical and conceptual arenas. The Department has a dedicated Contemporary Art Research Centre and access to learning via impressive practitioner networks and partnerships. Students are immersed in a stimulating intellectual and creative milieu for innovation in contemporary Fine Art.
