Aeronautical group design projects are undertaken in collaboration with BAe Systems on a real aircraft project. Students have access to State-of-the-Art experimental facilities that are part of the UK National Wind Tunnel Facility. Final year students will undertake a six-month placement in industry, an overseas university or within the University of Glasgow research facilities.

Required Document List
The most common documents required include:
- Current Passport: Students need their current passport.
- CAS: Make sure all details on the CAS for their new course are correct (e.g. personal details, passport number, amount of tuition fees to pay, amount of tuition fees they have paid so far, course dates).
- Financial evidence: The type of document students need to prepare depends on whether they are self-funding or sponsored students.
- Currency Conversions: If the currency on the financial document is not in GBP (British pounds), they need to make and print a currency conversion.
- Translation of any document not in English: Make sure documents, not in English are accompanied by a translation that meets all requirements in the Student Guidance.
- ATAS certificate: If CAS states this is required – students can also check if ATAS is required for their new course before they receive their CAS by contacting Admissions.
- Academic Documents: Stated in the “English Language” and “Evidence Used to Obtain Offer” sections of CAS.
