Students learn through lectures, laboratory, seminar and field training and whilst the aim of this degree scheme is to focus on human geography, students may choose some of their courses in more physical geography disciplines if they wish, to enable focus to move to the role of people in their environment. Suitable courses exist in both second and third year on environmental management themes

This course provides an opportunity to explore the fascinating and diverse field of contemporary human geography at an advanced level, most notably in the areas of urban, cultural, economic and geopolitics. The Human Geography programme is offered at the Royal Holloway University of London.
