Academic Qualification

• A Levels: BBB-BBC.
• Required Subjects: Biology plus another science (Chemistry, Maths, or Physics). A Pass is required in the practical element of all Science A-levels taken.
• GCSE Requirements: At least five GCSEs at grade A*-C or 9-4 including English and Mathematics.
• International Baccalaureate: 5,5,5 at Higher Level including Biology and a science (Chemistry, Maths, or Physics), minimum 30 points.
• BTEC National Diploma: Distinction, Merit in Applied Science, B in A-level Biology, with practical pass in Science A-levels.
• BTEC National Extended Certificate: Distinction + BB in A-level Biology and another science, with practical pass in Science A-levels.
• Welsh Baccalaureate: Same as A-levels, with one non-subject-specified A-level replaced by Welsh Baccalaureate.
• Scottish Advanced Highers: BBB-BBC, including Biology and another science (Chemistry, Maths, or Physics).
• Scottish Highers: BBBBB, including Biology and another science.
• Irish Leaving Certificate: H3, H3, H3, H3, H3, including Biology and another science.
• Access to Higher Education Diploma: Pass with 24 level 3 credits at Distinction (including Biology and Chemistry units) and remaining credits at Merit.

• T-levels: Merit overall, Merit in specialism, B in Core Component (Science Pathway).

NOTE: 

• BBB: Three B grades in A-Levels Subjects.
• BBC: Two B grades, One C grade in A-Levels Subjects. 
• BBBBB: Five B grades; consistent performance, but lower than higher-grade combinations.

• Higher Secondary School: Certificate Achieve a grade of 75% overall with a grade of 80% in any specified subject.

English Language Requirement

• IELTS: 6.5 overall, no subscore lower than 5.5.
• Pearson Test of English (PTE): 61 overall, no subscore lower than 51.
• Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English (ISE): ISE III.
• Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): Grade C.
