Tuition fees range from £24,500 (INR 29.73 Lakhs) per year for classroom-based undergraduate programmes to £59,500 (INR 72.5 Lakh) for the full-time Warwick MBA, making Warwick one of the higher-priced but globally ranked UK universities. Most postgraduate taught (MSc/MA) programmes cost between £30,000 and £45,000 per year, while research degrees (PhD/MPhil) typically range from £25,000 to £31,000 annually.

For many popular MSc courses, tuition for the 2026 intake is:

In addition to tuition, Indian students must budget for living costs in Coventry, averaging £830–£1,400 per month (~₹1–1.7 lakh), covering accommodation, food, utilities, transport, and personal expenses. As a minimum, the Home Office asks Student visa applicants to have £1,171 per month to cover accommodation and living expenses.

Warwick Scholarships, such as the Global Excellence Awards or department-specific discounts, play a critical role in making it more affordable for international students.

Warwick postgraduate applications for some courses are rolling until August 2026 or until capacity is full. Undergraduate applications follow the UCAS deadline of 14 January 2026. Indian students should allow 3–6 months for a UK student visa, including CAS issuance and document preparation. Check details on the admission process and eligibility criteria at Warwick

Reddit Insights from Indian Students on University of Warwick Fees and Costs

Indian students frequently discuss Warwick’s high tuition and living costs on Reddit, highlighting affordability challenges and the importance of scholarships or loans. Many often compare Warwick with cheaper alternatives (e.g., Trinity College Dublin) to weigh prestige vs. cost.

Payment Methods & Deposits

  • Opening UK bank accounts post-arrival is recommended.
  • £1,000–£1,200/month living cost is typical, covering groceries, transport, socialising, and utilities.
  • Students prefer cooking to save costs.
  • Part-time work (£12–£20/hour) can help cover expenses.
  • Rent is often paid upfront per term, creating cash flow challenges.
Scholarships & Funding
  • Scholarships (e.g., Global Excellence, WBS auto-offers 20–50% for MSc) are critical.
  • Indian banks (like SBI) offer loans at 8–10% interest; UK loans/guarantors are rarely available.
  • Without aid, Warwick is seen as “fantastic but unaffordable.”
Overall Takeaways
  • Warwick has a strong reputation, but costs (~£50k–£60k for a Master’s) require careful budgeting.
  • Strategies opted by Indian students include cooking at home, part-time jobs, securing scholarships early, and comparing alternatives.

The academics at Warwick exposes you to a career in economics research. There’s a lot of faculty who have experience in microeconomics. If your interest lies in microeconomics, Warwick is really one of the best places to be, in the U.K. The syllabus is updated annually, taking into account all the relevant trends in economics.

The course curriculum has been excellent and very well developed. The academics are excellent, with lecturers who understand their subject very well. It is feasible to keep up with the curriculum if time is well managed, and the online learning facilities have been strong as well. It is possible to pursue extracurriculars while keeping up with academic work. The tests and assignment submissions have been very understandable and feasible.

The University has a strong business and economics programme, as well as strong employability. Warwick is often targeted for economics and finance relate subjects, allowing excellent opportunities for internships and career experience. It's proximity to London also allows convenience for travelling to internships and companies.
