Microbiologists study bacteria, fungi, and viruses, and their role in infectious diseases in humans, other animals and plants. On this Microbiology at Aberystwyth University, you will also learn how microorganisms contribute to environmental nutrient cycling, brewing, food, and biotechnology industries, whilst you develop the scientific and analytical skills demanded in a broad range of professions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A-Levels: BBB-CCC, plus satisfactory portfolio
- GCSE requirements (minimum grade C/4): English or Welsh
- BTEC National Diploma: DDM-MMM, plus satisfactory portfolio
- International Baccalaureate: 30-28, plus satisfactory portfolio
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Standard XII Certificate from recognized central or state board:75 % in year XII Std.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
