- This course equips students with a thorough understanding of the scientific basis of nutrition in physiology, biochemistry, genetics, and immunology, providing the theoretical, empirical and practical knowledge to investigate the links between diet and a vast range of medical conditions, health, and social problems.
- The modules in the second and final years enable students to apply their knowledge to a wide variety of pressing issues and problems, concerning the health of individuals, social groups and populations.
