Academic Qualification

  • UCAS Tariff Points: 112 UCAS points.
  • A-Level Requirements: BCC (one subject preferably in a science).
  • BTEC Requirements: DMM (including 6 units in a Science or Health Science subject).
  • T-Level Requirements: Pass (C or above) in a science or health-related subject.
  • Access to HE Diploma: Health or science-based subject, meeting 112 tariff points (e.g., 24D, 15M, 6P or 21D, 18M, 6P).
  • GCSE Requirements: Minimum of five subjects at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics.
  • Interview Requirement: Selection is based on an interview.
  • DBS and Health Check: DBS and Health Clearance check is required for all Applicants.
  • Mature Students: Applications from mature students (21+) are welcomed; individual assessment applies

NOTE: 

  • BCC: One B grade and two C grades in A-Level subjects.
  • DMM: Two Distinction grades and one Merit grade in BTEC.
  • Pass (C or above) in T-Level: A minimum C grade in a science or health-related T-Level course.
  • 24D, 15M, 6P (Access to HE Diploma): 24 Distinction grades, 15 Merit grades, and 6 Pass grades, meeting the required 112 UCAS points.
  • 21D, 18M, 6P (Access to HE Diploma): 21 Distinction grades, 18 Merit grades, and 6 Pass grades, an alternative way to meet 112 UCAS points.
