- At Chester Business School we bring studying events management to life with inspiring and real experiences, interactive learning, access and exposure to the industry, and an opportunity to develop and manage their own events. This means that Chester develops outstanding, career-ready, events professionals.
- In the first-year students will learn the fundamental concepts of events management and experience the events industry through field visits, speakers, and practical activities. Students will develop key management skills in project planning, marketing, service experiences, risk management, tourism, and entrepreneurship.
- In Year 2, they will enhance their practical events management skills by creating and delivering a real live event to raise money for charity.
- The final year is tailored towards giving them the competitive edge they need to succeed in events management. Students have an opportunity to explore how events are developed on behalf of clients to a professional standard, examine the role of the Third Sector from an events perspective, and appreciate the management of major events.
