- Optimal opportunity to interact with people who are either working at the big corporate level or in government projects such as the UN. Also, I got the opportunity to visit on different excursions and know more about places and cultures.
I chose this university because of multiple factors and for me the most important factor was the course modules and curriculum since I had worked in the corporate field in India and I found this course very much in line with my future goals.
Course Curriculum
Well, my course curriculum is quite in line with the current market requirements in the field of corporate compliance which is a hot market at this point in time.
Faculty
My course is very niche so in my course we have only 9 students and all are experienced in our field however in other courses students are around 30-40 so it depends on the course. Also, I am highly impacted by one of my professors who is well recognized globally and working as a consultant to the UN as well.
Campus Life
Well, university is very much concerned about all these facilities and they take a lot of initiatives to seek attention from the students, there are many good communities built for students to help them adapt to the changes.
Placement
Well, I think there are good opportunities in the market at this point and placement I am not sure how the university will help however there is a portal which publishes daily vacancies which is run by the University. Also in my field, there are a lot of different certifications that can be done to enhance the profile and they are valued by the recruiters.
Accommodation
I am living in private accommodations which cost me 450 £ pounds per month including all miscellaneous expenses, university accommodation is also good and very near to the University buildings however bit more expensive around 600£ per month.
Exams
- I scored 6.5 overall in IELTS. It is required to get at least 6 in each section which is the bare minimum requirement according to the university guidelines. - 10th: 5 GPA (CJDAV public school); 12th: 53 % (CJDAV PUBLIC SCHOOL) BCOM - 57% (CCS UNIVERSITY); PGDM- 6.6 GPA (ISME Bangalore) - Requirements: Yes, I followed the same which is mentioned above as an illustration. I had submitted SOP, 2 LOR and my updated CV and had been interviewed for this programme.
