The overall experience is quite good considering the quality of education as it is much more practical also it feels up to date with industry standards. Also some of the modules requires coursework which is more researched based which widens the knowledge and gives a student an opportunity to use the knowledge they received. In terms of placements, all the Universities lack these as they cannot provide the placement.

Course Curriculum

9

The course module were very practical. It also contained coursework which is much more research oriented.

Exams

IELTS - 6.5 Min score - No less than 6.5 in any of the subject. SOP - Majorly wrote about why choosing the course, University and Country. How this course will help me in achieving my future goals. LORs - Majorly written by my UnderGrad professors, highlighting about me as a student. CV - Majorly my achievements, any extra course I did, work experiences and Cover Letter - Why I made a transition from Telecommunication's engineer to Software Developer and why choosing cybersecurity as my masters. I had one round of interview, in which the University majorly asked me about my goals, my future plans in UK and my research about the University. also some of the questions were related to my Cover Letter, SOP and my background as Software developer.

Placement

4

I believe Universities in UK does not provide placements. Students have an option to add placement year in which they can look out for jobs or internships if provided by University.

Fees

GBP 14500

Scholarship

No. I applied for a scholarship but it was declined as the scholarship application was late.

Faculty

9

I was studying during post COVID period so majority of lectures were online and it was around 100 - 120 students online. During practicals it was divided into batches of around 40 - 60 students.

Campus Life

Library is excellent has more than 100,000 books and is very modern. University student can access it whole day also has rooms, pods and computers. WiFi is excellent across university and library. UoG is affiliated to Charlton Athletic FC which makes it easier for student who are interested in Football to get in touch with them.

Hostel

8

I had a private accommodation. But in University is generally around £150 / week.
