The programme begins with a series of core lectures and seminars, balanced by focused reading of key literature related to the four areas of enquiry. This enables all of the students on the programme to gain a multi-disciplinary perspective and provides ground for shared discourse.

Zero-Energy Mass Custom Housing Aims

• To develop a critical understanding of design, production and communication principles relevant to the delivery of zero energy sustainable housing.Ê

• To gain an understanding of key parameters that determine the housing affordability and performance in view of socio-demographic contexts.Ê

• To develop an ability to use appropriate analytical tools to make an innovative contribution to mass-customising socially, economically and environmentally responsible housing units and the community development.
