Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, faculties, discipline and past placement records were some of the things that influenced me to get admission into this college. RTU's curriculum is perfect for personality development, self growth and industry readiness. Our college not only works on our skills but only on our personality development even though it's not their problem. They want to become good at every aspect of our life.
Internships Opportunities
There are several companies which come to our college with internship offers for students. For example, Secure meter, Capgemini, Perfect app etc. for different rolls like assistant software developer, junior software developer, etc. A college students have created a lot of great and innovative projects. Even some of them have got appreciation letters from big institutes like World health organisation too.
Placement Experience
Placement rate of our college is about 35-40% which is more than the actual average of placements in other colleges. Definately this college gives you so many ethics and values and make you a disciplined person too. Surely if you didn't got placed from here, you will a good job anywhere with a little bit of effort. Highest package of this year was 40 lacs per annum and three placements in American Express for 19 lacs per annum. My plan after getting a is to immediately get a good placement and in case to failure, I'll prefer to do masters in computer science.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Computer Science and Engineering - 1st year - 90000 2nd year - 70000 3rd year - 70000 4th year - 70000 (Approx - 37500 per semester) For other branches like mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering has different fee structures and have comparatively less fees than computer science engineering. Bus fee - 10000 (per semester) Registration fee - 350/500/750 (Depends on the board. For example RBSE, CBSE.) Caution fee - 7000 There are alot of scholarship programs in our college for SC and ST students, and students below poverty line.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of college is not too much good as compared to other engeneering colleges in our city but its campus feels really peaceful and positive. There are several clubs like music and public speaking skills, etc. In terms of sports our college is really bad. We do not have any choice for any sport. We just study and study here. Our college also has a NCC batallion for both boys and girls.
Admission
I only considered this college because of its image and great history for placements in big companies. This college requires appearance in JEE main exam and minimum 60% in class 12th. Addmission experience was average.
Faculty
All the facilities are really good towards everyone for real. They will help you in every problem. For example- Rekha Lahoti ma'am (HOD) treats us like their own childern and never discriminate us on the basis of our marks. Every teacher in Techno NJR feels like our close ones.
Night Life
I am a day scholar but some of my friends have taken accomodation facility in hostel and their experience is pretty good in terms of warden's behaviour, hostel facilities and mess food. College gate closes at 10:00 p.m. and I feel like this is more than enough for every hosteler. There's no hangout places inside and outside the college. It is actually safe but not too much fruitful to roam around the college.
