Dislikes
- Since it is a government college, professors are mostly engaged in official work and sometimes they miss classes
- This college is mostly hindi medium centric, so english medium student would find it slight difficulty in lectures but professors can easily handle that.
- There is very less scope of placement here. Placements are mainly given to BCA and MCA students.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a normal course that provides basic knowledge of subjects. The curriculum is efficient for tests and post-graduation. However, it could be more organized and planned. Teachers should be relieved from official duties so that they can focus more on teaching. The frequency and timing of exams are good, giving ample time for students to revise and perform well on tests.

Campus Life
There are enough opportunities for extra co-curricular activities like sports, public speaking, debates, quizzes, rangoli, art, dance, music, etc. at the college level and inter-college level(university level) which can go to the national level. The cricket pitch with the ground, kabaddi mat court, tennis court, and volleyball court are available. Even teachers encourage and support students to participate in extra co-curricular activities The latest equipments in the physics and chemistry lab are available. NCC for Army is available.
Admission
I have applied for this college only. Admission process 1) First we have to apply online 2) We have to wait for counseling 3) Students are selected based on 12th percentage 4) Top 200 applicants were selected 5) No entrance test was taken 6) Required documents have to be submitted while admission
Faculty
In the Mathematics department, there are 4 professors. In the Physics department, there are 4 professors. In the Chemistry department, there are 6 professors. Total students were 200 in a class. I liked Mrs. Sunita Varshney from the Mathematics department the most because of her helping nature. She even used to take extra classes for the students who missed the classes. I like the chemistry faculty least because they mainly use Hindi while teaching and I am from English medium. Two CCE(Comprehensive course evaluation) tests were taken and one final exam of all subjects was taken and they were relatively moderate. Around 40 students in my class failed.
Night Life
The library was available with all course books and books by great writers of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Hostel facilities were not available. The area around the college is safe due to its proximity to the Army Cantonment Area and one can freely roam at night near the college. A small temple and a park are available in the college along with a good parking facility. Poonam Sweet House is 2 km away from from college where one can find a variety of snacks like fritters, chat, dosa, etc.
