All you need to know about My College.

Our course curriculum is all about being professional. We even study the subject of professionalism. we have to interact with so many people and we need to improvise day by day. Not only our communication is considered as interaction but also our appearance and gestures everything will be evaluated. And we have to be professional in all manner. So we are constantly trained to become one. By practicing professionalism day by day i hope i will also be a professional go my own life, I want to be like that, this is main aspect that i chose BSC.NURSING.

For insternship, our college mostly let us practice in our hospital(Malabar Medical college). They also sent us to CMC vellur hospital. The projects and tasks are not much burden we only need to perform what we know and no need to get worked up.

In the first year of college, we have to pay a total of 1,15000 rupees including tution fee (96,000 rs, as per the government structure for nursing), registration fee (500rs), caution deposit (5000rs), library fee (500rs) and others including uniform, 1st year text book (11,000rs). For hostel, in the first year we paid 81,000 rs which is totally worth including food. In the next year our tution fee went down to 91,000rs and hostel fee went down to 75,000rs. For third year tution fee is the same and the hostel fee is 71,000rs now.

The college life here is amazing. The friendship circle here is mesmerising. Your social life become more and more improved. In a year the main events are New year, onam celebration, Christmas celebrations, Iftar, Bakrid, college day, arts day, nurses day, farewell day, graduation and holi celebrations. And many more other events. The best part is because we have other courses in our college like MBBS, BDS, GNM, other Paramedical courses when they conduct ghe programmes we all cam be part of it. A year full of celebrations. So eventually social life will be at its peek.

Our hostel is the best. For the money we paid, its totall worth it. Per year we pay 75,000rs for accomedation and food. Each unit is like a apartment with 4 students, consisting of 2 rooms with attached bathroom, a kitchen and adinig hall. We have 2 single bed and a table for each and a bigggg bigg common table and separte wardrobes, luxurious right? The electricity and water never goes of here. The menu here is amazing we are provided with breakfast, luch, evening tea, dinner and very late night tea. And the foods here are top notch with balanced palate. There is both veg and non veg option and guess what we have north Indian option too. Registration process is not a big deal, you have to be with one of your parent and ask in the college and they will make all the other facilities. Like i said befir locality outside the campus is very safe and many students are renting or staying in PG. So its generally safe and sound.

The main reason to chose this college was the hospital was near to the college and the campus environment. Another reason was, its not too far away from my home. Even if it is too far away I would still be choosing this college and campus. The admission process was not too complicated. Student needs to get 80% percentage in their higher secondary and that is mandatory. No other entrance examinations. But if there is any entrance exam in the future by the Government, students need to crack it. Our college is clearly follows the instructions form the Government and KUHAS.

The faculties are so nice. They will take care of you and will be with you for everything, let it be your personal or professional life. They will give you sdvice for everything. There is no partiality among the students. All are equal. The will make you assured. We have many faculties here in all aspects. The teaching faculties are all mastered in nursing. To get familiar with all the faculties each faculty will take ateleast 1 hour which help us to break the ice. For marking, they will give you mark for what you have written, no partiality.

Our night life is quiet friendly in our campus and well safe. Our campus have 24×7 library and cafeteria, so all the night owls, welcome. Also we can use our play ground and activitiy areas anytime and its all crowded. Anytime you go there will be someone there practicing, so you join with or not. We have garden in 2 areas, one at the top of the hill one is in lower top of the hill. You can hangout and chill anytime you want. The gym will be opened by 4am and close by 11pm. College will start by 8am and close by 6pm, but the central library and academic block is 24×7. For hostelers, freshers needs to get in the hostel on 7pm and as they become senior they entry time is 10 pm unless they have appointment for gym, library or for any other practice or activities. And last year seniors and interns can enter the hostel anytime. Outside the campus it safe all the time because its always surrounded by students. Night life becoming a trend over here.
