Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum had this specific understanding of what the students require. We had clubs and association activities on fridays and we also had this Sahaya program where we had to complete 17 hours of social work which was mandatory for everyone.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees I paid was sufficient for my financial condition at that time. I have completed the course in the year 2021. There was scholarships provided by the government, not by the college for minorities. Financial aid was not available at that time.

Campus Life

5

We had fests such as astitiva, artbeat etc. The library was stocked with books for every subject but the issue was due to online availability of articles and journals, we never usualy used the library. Sports was always encouraged in the campus and thats where i learnt to play basketball. Most of the activities and fests were run by student groups.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel accomodtion was mediocre. The affordability was good for Rs 60k but the food was not upto the mark. It was easy to get a room in the hostel, but i would not suggest any further students to join the hostel.

Admission

To be honest, this college was my only option as the rest of the colleges were too far from my hometown which is why i chose this college. The cutoff for exams were 55% i think. Most of the students preferred online exams. My overall admission took place quickly as it was done in a very fast way.

Faculty

5

My Journalism and English faculty were very knowledgable and helped us in every single characteristic of our college events and fests and gave us a practical insight of the subject. Psychology department was not that great but i learnt a lot from the lecturers even though the head of department was not available as she was a busy woman.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this combination specifically because of my interest in psychology. As I already had some experience in economics, this seemed the most obvious choice. By the end of this course I can chose to have either a specialised degree of any one subject or a normal degree in all three.

The faculty has best teaching methods, the staff don't just teach, they basically connect concepts to our real life and makes them easy to learn.Animated videos for concepts are shown on smartboard which helps students to learn easily. Revisions, class tests, much more practices are been taken for best scores.

It has it's ups and downs, but it's easy to ignore the negative points and just enjoy the positives if you really want to. There is a lot of politics on campus that can be quite frustrating sometimes, but I think that's the case everywhere.
