Likes

I liked the way sterilization provided in our college, infrastructure,and also the encouragement in extracurricular activities
I liked the way comprehensive clinics are divided and opportunities for every treatment
I liked the way of teaching,availability of instruments

Dislikes

Things that I disliked where the hostel facilities need to be improved a little
I dislike about the out side food not to be allowed into the campus
I dislike about the outing to be provided only 1 time per month

I liked the way small group teaching,ipad usage,comprehensive postings and opportunities for different ugsrs research facilities,academic clinical postings,laser treatments ,timing for every exams for about 3 hrs is appreciated

More opportunities like root canal treatment and crownpreations ,crown cementations suture removals learned,and satellite clinics were provided which were college own clinics and staff helps us a lot to increase our knowledge

Placement Experience

The satellite clinics were provided and college own clinics with average with yearly 300000 to be provided and more than 85 percentage of students got placements and I used to do my mds after bds degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees that I paid is 400000 and I received Tata scholarship for about 175000 in my 2nd year,and lab fees of about 20000 my batch mates fees can range from 1,00000 to 300000 based on category

Campus Life

Freshers to be conducted for every new coming batch and sport events for about 3 months,all types of motivational journals and books need for our course were provided,class room teaching with board and ipad,and projectors teaching was very helpful

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities to be provided are hotwater availability,wifi to be provided ,meal quality was more than average the hostel fees to be provided with less crowd, and the fees was so affordable with non AC and AC facilities

Admission

My first priority to be applied is vishnu dental college and also applied for cibar dental college I choose this based on security and infrastructure which is very helpful,eligibilty through neet exams

Faculty

I really like the faculty student ratio they were very approachable and I liked the way of teaching,they conduct 3 internals prior to final exams which is very helpful and one practical exam priorly that helps us a lot

A controversial review

Course Curriculum Overview:

It doesn't influence me in any manner. But has a very good applications in real world, where it teaches about the oral hygiene and things about the oral health of an individual. It needs to be understand the concept and not in a rush manner. Nd also not by reading just the ppt. They can improve it by giving examples in a video manner, in which it is applicable. The frequency is needed to reduce and the syllabus needed to be reduced as per the students capabilities.

Bachelor of dental surgery is a five years course. Circular comes from direct YSR university. Every year there should one exam is conducted to promote into next year if they qualify in those exams otherwise they should attend the college after six months.

GSL DENTAL COLLEGE REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this degree is very vast and it covers all the aspects required for the future of the student. I choose this course because it helped me to make people smile without insecurities. The curriculum prepares you very well for the outside world by providing internship in the college itself. The classes are taken using ppt presentation and I suggest more of interactive sessions should be included in the curriculum.the exams are taken place every 2 months and a university exam is conducted in the end. The difficult of the exam is medium.

I only choose this course because I can't get Mbbs seat.here the faculty is well prepared the students to Survive in the competitive world.It is very hard to read the exams because we have annual exams. And we can't read the whole syllabus at a time.and we feel very stressed.
