Course Curriculum Overview

3

well, since this course is required more practical exposure than theory, so yeah, the practical exposure is quite good, but yeah, like few equipments like good cameras and the quantity of quantity of equipments are very less and sometimes due to some official reasons students are not allowed to handle the equipments and that's why they are unable to learn how it really works. So there are cons of how the course goes and teaching methods are mostly focused on practicality and that's plus point for the course in this college.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

well, the college has really offered good internships as they only have few connections related to Internship. They offer good placements but not really good intention of talking about the coal that I pursue that is BJMC. The only internship offer is the community Radio that this college has the 90.4 JIMS community radio, which had no stipend.

Placement Experience

3

placements for BC and BB are quite nice for BJMC Department. It is lower than what the other courses get, but yes, the placements are quite good and in big companies and students become eligible for placements since fifth semester and the highest package that has been offered was 21,00,00 for BBA student and the lowest that was offered was six lakhs to a BCA student and average package for a BMC student is around 7 to 8 lakhs and that is quite good compare to other colleges, almost 60% of the students get placed from the colleges. It depends on your skills as well and my plans. After getting the degree. I want to pursue the master degree in the same field that is journalism and mass communication and I plan to do it from some colleges, like JNU or ACJ etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

1st Year fees- 136000(30000- Ip University fees and 6000- Development fees) 2nd year fees- 127000 (") 3rd year fees- 117000 (") : 13000= Tuition Fees 5000 registration fees and for Management Quota as well.

Campus Life

3

coming to the campus, the campus is quite small, so there is not really much to do, but the campus life is quite good. The activities and the societies that are involved in colleges are quite helpful and quite amazing. As they really helps in increasing your college life experience and teachers are also quite involved in the society, so it makes It better for students to participate in societies or clubs and get more exposure to the practical world

Admission

Colleges that applied for the colleges from university of Delhi and being a person that belongs to a general Category and do only limited amount of colleges for the course that I wanted to pursue for so long. The reasons I wasn't able to get the college from University of Delhi and the reason I didn't really cracked the CUET exam, I was not really prepared for it. I took it a bit lightly and getting a good rank in CET exam, got me JIMS Vasant Kunj, so I was looking for VIPS BUT THE COLLEGE BEING IN HIGH DEMAND AND BEING AN OUTSIDE PERSON, SO IT WAS REALLY TOUGH TO GET INTO THE BIG, BUT I'M GLAD THAT I GOT THE SECOND BEST COLLEGE SECOND Best college of IP University The admission process was quite simple. You just have to give the CET exam and you'll be selected according to your rank. It is not really tough.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good and experienced and very helpful at times, but few of the teachers are not really up to the mark like Miss Vandana Yadav, who isn't really into teaching and mostly concerned with other activities of students and Miss Ruchi Goyal, who was also like way too strict, and doesn't really explain things and is quite partial, otherwise, all the other faculties are quite good and helpful for students talking about exams where are two exams, one midterm and one external and the midterm is of 30 marks and the external is of 70 marks and it is like mid terms are okay medium difficult and the external is quite conceptual, but if you have studied well, then yes, you can crack it, so it's not really tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 10 out of 10 for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. In my elementary school I was always interested in history and Pol science subjects and then i made decision to study in these subjects further. In my perspective , I don't think for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods because they are already best to best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good and helpful without any doubt. It has a lot of jargons which might be a hurdle for the students at first but with clear understanding and efforts you can easily tackle it. Also, the practicals were always so fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is mostly based on the theoritcal and practical knowledge to analyse the questions to give appropriate answers . I was interested in the curriculum field as jt helps me to explore the media industry and to understand how media literally form a great role in the society as it also a fourth pillar of our democracy. The curriculum provides us the theoritcal knowledge to be followed during our real life challenge when we enter the industry but the curriculum lack on the focussing of practical knowledge as our course mostly dealt with the practicality of media only. So with the above stated problem I think that curriculum should add some of the practical papers too for examing the understanding level of students. The difficultity level of our exams is quite good that forces us to study well with clear understanding of concept and use different mind application to solve the problems.

The placement cell of collages very cooperative which helps you to get into the jobs and in the internships as well. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester and talking about the placements of my college it is on an average scale the highest packages offered to the BBA student that is 21 lakh and the lowest was of 4 lakh that was offer to a BCS student talking about the BJMC department the average packages rangers from 6 to 8 lakh that is white good for a college of this level and the placement cell of our college is continuously getting better and working on getting more and more companies into their system. Plans after getting the degree would be pursuing masters in the same field from some top notch colleges be it Jawaharlal Nehru University or some colleges from University of Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are not a thing here, as I have understood till now. Nonetheless, a student is eligible for placements once he/she passes the fifth semester. My batch is yet to pass the fifth semester as the time I am writing this review is the COVID times. I literally don't have much idea about the percentage of placements and to be honest, I don't want to know. I have my own plans and I am finding myself a job after the degree. One thing I would like to mention is that these are my personal views, there may be some differences while others review this.
